Foley, Ala. - The Central Methodist Women's Soccer team is set to face No. 12 seeded Tennessee Southern in the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Quarterfinals in Foley, Alabama.
Game time is set for 1:00 p.m. (CST) on Thursday, Nov. 30 at Foley Sports Tourism Championship Stadium.
The Eagles defeated Hastings College by a score of 4-0 in the Round of 16 Monday evening. Central improves to 19-2-1 overall and advances to the quarterfinals for the third time in the last four seasons.
Tennessee Southern defeated Benedictine College in the Round of 16 in a penalty kick shootout following a scoreless regulation and double overtime periods. UTS enters the quarterfinals with a 15-4-3 record and have plenty of championship experience, as the Firehawks won the 2021 NAIA National Championship.
The winner of Thursday's Quarterfinal game will face the winner of No. 1 William Cary (Miss.)/No. 9 Aquinas (Mich.) in the national semifinals on Dec. 2.
