Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Volleyball program will begin its national tournament run with an Opening Round matchup against the Valley City State (N.D.) Vikings Saturday, Nov. 18 at 11:00 a.m. inside Puckett Field House.
The Vikings will be competing in their first-ever NAIA National Tournament, after earning an at-large bid out of the North Star Conference with an overall record of 22-9 and an 8-4 mark in conference play.
CMU punched its ticket to the national tournament after finishing as the Heart of America Conference Tournament Runner-Up. Entering postseason play, the Eagles' boast an overall record of 22-10 including a 14-3 mark in the Heart of America. Central is making its sixth-straight appearance in the Opening Round, and are aiming to advance to the Final Site for the fifth time in the last six years with a win Saturday.
Fans may purchase tickets online or pay with cash/card at the gate. General admission is $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students. NAIA passes will be an accepted form of admission when presented at the gate.
