Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Volleyball program remained at No. 21 in the final edition of the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll, which was announced by the national office Wednesday.
With Wednesday's ranking release, Central has now been ranked in 42 consecutive polls, the fifth-longest active streak in the country.
No. 6 Park is the only other Heart program ranked in the Top 25.
CMU has posted a 22-9 overall record through 31 matches which includes a solid 14-3 record in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
The Eagles have won three-consecutive matches, all coming in straight sets over the last week and a half, including two victories in the conference tournament.
Central has already punched its ticket into the NAIA National tournament, and will be making its fourth appearance in the Heart Tournament Championship game in the last five seasons.
The Eagles are set to square off against Park University for the Heart Tournament Championship Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2:00 p.m. in Parkville, Mo.

Rating Methodology
- The rating was rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated groups.
- The Coaches Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes"
