Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Volleyball program moved two spots to No. 22 in the latest NAIA Coaches' Top 25 poll, announced by the national office Wednesday.
The only other Heart program featured in the Top 25 is No. 8 Park University.
CMU currently boasts an 11-5 record, including a 5-2 mark in Heart of America Athletic Conference play. Central closed the month of September winning seven of its last nine games, highlighted by a five game winning streak from Sept. 15 - Sept. 23.
So far this season, the Eagles have notched wins over, at the time, No. 13 Dakota Wesleyan, (RV) Xavier, and (RV) Our Lady of the Lake.
Central is set to host Defending Heart Regular Season and Tournament Champion MidAmerica Nazarene University Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.

Rating Methodology
- The rating was rated by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences/Continental Athletic Conference (Independents)/unaffiliated groups.
- The Coaches Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each voter ranks the best teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed and the team's ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the teams appear on.
- Teams that receive only one point on the ballot are not considered "receiving votes"
