Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Soccer program cruised past Culver-Stockton College, 8-0, Wednesday night at Davis Field.
Central improves to 7-6-3 and 4-4-2 in conference play, while the Wildcats drop to 2-9-5 and 0-9-1 in the Heart play.
The Eagles tallied six first half goals, highlighted by a pair of goals from Matheus Storck. Jayton Johnson, Nawfal Hassani, Cian Halpin, and Alvaro Perojo also got in on the scoring as well.
Leading 6-0 at halftime, Central tallied two more goals from Storck and Liam Arthur to complete the 8-0 victory.
As a team, CMU finished the evening firing off 25 total shots and 11 shots on goal. Storck led the way with a hat trick.
Freshman keeper Niccolo Cabras played the first 45 minutes between the posts, followed by Morris Van Tuinen who played the final 45.
Each of the keepers recorded a save and combined for a clean sheet.
Central remains at home to host Clarke University Friday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Davis Field. The program will honor its 2023 senior class prior to the match.
