Marshall, Mo. - The Central Methodist Women's Golf team opened fall tournament play at the MVC Fall Invitational, hosted by Missouri Valley College on Monday and Tuesday in Marshall, Missouri.
The tournament, which was held at Indian Foothills Golf Course featured four teams including; CMU, Missouri Valley, William Woods, and Evangel University.
Central fired team scores of 361, 346, and 358 to tally a final score of 1065 to place first, Missouri Valley finished second with a total score of 1072, followed by William Woods (3rd - 1,111) and Evangel (4th - 1,183).
Freshman Reagan Bell was Central's highest finisher, posting a three-round score of 257 to place third. For her play, Bell was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Tanier Massey competed as an individual, landing in the Top 10 with a three-round score of 265 to place sixth.
Kali Brown (8th - 267) and Lauren Williams (9th - 270) also landed in the Top 10.
Karington Harrell finished 12th followed by Kyambria Acy with a 15th place finish.
Central will next compete in the William Woods Fall Invitational beginning Monday, Sept. 16 at Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton, Mo.
