Moravia, Iowa - The Central Methodist Women's Golf team concluded its season at the Heart of America Conference Championships this past week. | TOURNAMENT PAGE
The two-day tournament took place at the The Preserve on Rathbun Lake Golf Course in Moravia, Iowa. It featured 55 golfers from 10 different schools from the Heart of America.
CMU shot scores of 360, 372, and 335, finishing the tournament in sixth place with a three-round score of 1067. Sophomore Mechelle Vermillion led the Eagles with a score of 247, tying for 15th place as an individual.
Karington Harrell landed at 29th with a score of 272 followed by Lauren Williams who shot 273 to place 30th.
Kali Brown (31st - 275) and Olivia Kelley (50th - 333), rounded out Central's top five golfers.
Mount Mercy won the championship with a three-round score of 938, followed by William Penn (952) and Park University (988).
