Central Drops Tight Road Dual to Baker

Baldwin City, Kan. - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team fell in a closely contested dual against Heart foe Baker, 22-18, Wednesday night in Baldwin City, Kansas. 

Mitchell Huber secured the first win of the night for Central at 141 pounds, with a convincing 11-4 victory over Joseph Triscornia. The next victory for Central came in the 165 pound weight class, with Roman Garcia earning a 9-5 decision over Joey Hancock. 

Sincere Hall-Osbourne made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles, when he pinned Baker's Travis Sanders in less than 90 seconds. Garine Gibson secured the final win of the evening for Central in the heavyweight match, pinning his opponent in 1:35. 

Central will next compete against nationally ranked Missouri Valley College Thursday, Feb. 1 at 7:00 p.m. in Marshall, Mo.
