Cedar Falls, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team concluded their time at the NWCA National Duals in Cedar Falls, Iowa Saturday.
Central squared off against No. 8 Providence (Mont.) followed by their final dual of the tournament against No. 10 Ottawa (Kan.).
Sincere Hall-Osbourne and Cameron Cornman both picked up victories against Providence grapplers in the 174 and 197 pound weight classes respectively.
Hall-Osbourne continued his tournament run with an upset win over No. 22 Bridger Hall by a narrow 4-2 decision. Cornman secured the second win of the dual with a 7-3 decision over Caleb Werner, who wrestled up a weight class and is ranked 25th at 184 pounds.
Against the Braves of Ottawa, the Eagles received a pair of victories due to open weight classes at 157 and 174 pounds. Austin Foye then concluded the dual with a victory by an 8-1 decision at 285 pounds.
The Eagles return home to host Benedictine College for their final home dual of the year, Thursday, Jan. 11 at 6:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House. The program will also honor the 2023-24 senior class as part of senior night festivities.
