Kansas City, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team picked up three wins at the Eagle duals hosted by Avila University in Kansas City Saturday afternoon.
Central finished the afteroon with a 3-1 record, and improve to 7-2 overall in dual competition during the 2023-24 season.
Redshirt sophomore Colton King posted a perfect 3-0 record at 125 pounds, while James Griffin picked up two wins in the 157 pound weight class.
Freshman Roman Garcia wrestled in every dual on the day, securing four wins, including two by Fall and a Major Decision.
Garine Gibson and Austin Foye each picked up a pair of victories at 285 pounds.
Central returns to action in the NWCA Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships beginning Friday, Jan. 5 in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
