Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team won it second consecutive dual with a 25-20 victory over William Penn University Friday night inside Puckett Field House.
In addition, CMU improves to 3-1 in duals in 2023.
No. 2 nationally ranked James Griffin and Roman Garcia both picked up wins over ranked opponents at 157 and 165 pounds respectively, including a 15-8 Major Decision for Garcia.
Sincere Hall-Osbourne recorded a victory by a 9-7 Decision over his opponent at 174, while No. 20 Garine Gibson took care of business with an 11-2 Major Decision in the 285-pound weight class to seal the dual win for the Eagles.
Central will next travel to Lamoni, Iowa to face fellow Heart opponent Graceland University Thursday, Dec. 7 at 7:00 p.m.
