Men's Wrestling Battles at Highly Competitive Grand View Open

Des Moines, Iowa - The Central Methodist Men's Wrestling team took part in the highly competitive Grand View Open this past weekend in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Eagles were represented by 12 wrestlers across numerous weight classes.

Junior Garine Gibson was the highest finisher for the Eagles, placing fifth in the 285-pound Open bracket with a 3-2 record. Mitchell Huber also picked up three wins in the freshman/sophomore division at 141 pounds.

Sincere Hall-Osbourne, Charlie Fitzgerald, Devin York, and Cameron Cornman all picked up four wins in their respective weight classes.

Central returns home to host No. 1 nationally ranked Grand View and (RV) Avila University in a tri-dual, set to begin at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 inside Puckett Field House.
