Eli Sherman, a Columbia Missouri native, enters his second year as an assistant coach with the men's soccer program.
Sherman began his career at NCAA Division III Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. While with the Stars, Eli led his team to a combined record of 26-11-4, including two trips to the national tournament.
Sherman played his final two seasons at nearby Westminster College in Fulton, Mo., serving as Team Captain both his junior and senior year. Over those two seasons, the Blue Jays went 32-7-1 and made two national tournament appearances, including a second-round showing during Eli's senior year.
Following graduation, Sherman returned to Westminster as a part-time assistant coach for four seasons, helping the Blue Jays to 26 wins and an appearance in the national tournament in 2017.
