Baldwin City, Kan. - The No. 20 Central Methodist Women's Wrestling team fell to No. 19 Baker University in a road dual by a score of 27-14 Wednesday evening in Baldwin City, Kansas.
Central fell in its opening two matches, the first being Tech Fall and the second a forfeit due to an open weight class. The trio of Nonnie Justice, Emily Neumann, and Berlin Kiddoo took care of their opponents at the 130, 136, and 143 pound bouts respectively.
Justice secured a Tech Fall victory over No. 19 Abbie Joines at 130 pounds, while Neumann earned a victory by pin in just 46 seconds in the 136 pound match. Kiddoo also picked up a win via pin in just under two minutes at 143 pounds.
Baker earned three straight victories at 155, 170, and 191 pounds to close out the dual with a victory.
Central will return home to host William Woods University Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 7:00 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
