
Fayette, Mo. - Central Methodist senior guard Tristan Porter earned 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District honors in the NAIA Division.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First, second, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on April 16, 2025.
Porter, an exercise science major from California, Missouri, earns All-District honors for the first time in her career. She appeared and started in all 28 games for the Eagles at point guard this season.
Porter averaged 6.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 0.9 steals/game for the Eagles. She knocked down 25 three-point field goal attempts and shot 72.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Porter scored in double figures in three of Central's final four games of 2025, including a season-high 15 points against Peru State College on Feb. 8.
