Kansas City, Mo. - For the second time this year, Central Methodist junior guard Zutorya Cook was named the Heart Women's Basketball Player of the Week by the conference office.
Cook, a native of Marietta, Georgia led Central in a dominating 79-53 road victory over William Penn last Wednesday in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
She tallied 20 points while also grabbing a game-high 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double. In addition, Cook recorded six assists and six steals in the win. The 20 points marks Cook's fourth-straight 20 point performance so far this season.
Cook and the Eagles will remain at home to host Culver-Stockton College Thursday, Jan. 18 at 5:30 p.m. inside Puckett Field House.
