
Fayette, Mo. - The Central Methodist Men's Golf program took part in two tournaments this week.
Central competed in both the Missouri Valley Spring Invite in Marshall and the UHSP Spring Invite in Madison, Illinois.
In Marshall, Central finished in eighth place as a team with a three-round score of 963.
Keenan James posted a Top 10 finish, placing 10th with a three-round score of 224. He posted his best round with a score of 71 in round two.
Zachary Krantz tied for 29th with a three-round total of 243.
John Howle (32nd - 246), Jackson Hackett (39th - 255), Travis Allen (41st - 257), Alvin Brämhagen (42nd - 260), Jaylen King (43rd - 273), and Valur Örn (44th - 293) also competed for the Eagles in Marshall.
In Illinois, CMU placed fourth with a two-day score of 602. William Woods and Columbia College finished 1-2 in the team standings.
Cole Wiese finished in a three-way tie for first place with a two-round score of 142, firing rounds of 72 and 70. It marks the third time this season the sophomore has finished regulation play in first play.
Cylas Worley finished 14th with a score of 150, followed by Carter Jackson and Garrett Rikel (T26th - 155), and Brock Jenkins (T37th - 180).
The Eagles will turn their attention to the postseason with the Heart of America Conference Championships, set to begin Monday, April 14 at Jack Nicholas Lion's Gate in Overland Park, Kansas.
