Austin Jackson was named Defensive Line Coach for the Eagles' Football program in February, 2024
Jackson previously served as the Defensive Coordinator at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. He also has prior stops at Southwestern College and William Penn University.
During his time as a coach, Jackson has experience in game planning, scholarship management, and recruiting. He has recruited players from Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana.
Prior to breaking into the college ranks, Jackson coached both sides of the ball at J.C. Harmon High School in Kansas City, Kansas.
Jackson graduated from fellow Heart institution Baker University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Sports Management and Physical Education.
He played on the 2016 National Championship Runner-Up team that posted a 12-0 record and won the Heart of America South Division Championship.
