The Central Methodist Track and Field program split its squads at both the Kansas Relays and the Culver-Stockton Invite this past weekend. 

At the KU Relays, Leroy Williams posted a new personal best in the 110m hurdles in a time of 14.10 seconds, good for a second place finish in the finals. 

Adrian Watson ran the 400m hurdles in 56.52 seconds.

The duo of Renee Finke and Delaney Miller went 2-3 in the high jump, with Finke clearing a height of 1.70 meters to hit the 'A' standard for national qualification. Miller jumped a height of 1.65 meters. 

In addition, Finke ran a preliminary time of 14.79 seconds in the 100m hurdles to advance to the finals where she would finish sixth. 

Dayana Montengro ran a new personal best in the preliminaries of the 400m in a time of 55.59 seconds. 

Over in Canton at the C-SC Invite, Kailey Johnson won the 100m hurdles in a time of 14.85 seconds. The 4x800m relay team of Madison Horn, Sadie Burchett, Isabella Ross, and Emma Paninka placed first in 11:24.71. 

Amara Reichert finished second in the pole vault with a vault of 2.80 meters. Claireece Cross won the triple jump with a leap of 11.35 meters, while Paninka finished third with a jump of 10.48 meters. 

Baylee Beard won the shot put with a throw of 13.12 meters. Karli Wolfe followed with a fourth place finish after completing a toss of 11.17 meters. Wolfe and Kali Brown went 1-2 in the discus with throws of 42.77 and 40.31 meters respectively. 

Victoria Olivarez finished fourth in the discus with a throw of 36.22 meters. 

Beard broke the school record in the hammer throw with a toss of 54.92 meters, hitting the national qualifying 'A' standard. Wolfe finished second with a toss 47.25 meters, and Brown fourth with a throw of 41.29 meters. 

Additionally, Beard placed second with a throw of 36.38 meters. 

Central will turn its attention to the postseason as they will next compete in the Heart Outdoor Championships beginning Friday, May 4 in Baldwin City, Kansas.
