Ken Ash, a former Hickman High School player and coach and current director of the Show-Me State Games, coached basketball at CMU from 1978 to 1985 and racked up a record 160 wins against 91 losses, winning three Heart of America Conference and three NAIA district titles. Current Coach Jeff Sherman, an Eagle player in the early 1980s for Ash, recently broke his record.
