NOMINATION CATEGORIES AND CRITERIA
ATHLETE
- Must have completed intercollegiate eligibility at least 10 years prior to selection, with at least two years of competition of CMU.
- Earlier inductions may be considered based on extraordinary athletic accomplishments
- Graduate of Central (requirement may be waived on a case by case basis)
- CMU record holder at one time, First Team All-Conference, statistics,
- Multi-Sport Athlete
- Scholar-Athlete
- All American recognition
- NAIA Champion, Olympic participant, world or conference/NAIA record-setter
COACH/ADMINISTRATOR/ATHLETIC STAFF
- Serve that made a significant impact on Eagle Athletics, helped move the athletic department forward.
- Tenure of at least five years at Central
- Contribution to the sport, the athletic department, university, and achievement in public life are desirable qualifications.
- Conference Championships, Playoff Appearances, National Championships, Winning Record
HONORARY NOMINEE/CONTRIBUTOR
- Central Methodist graduates with at least two years at Central Methodist as an undergraduate give automatic eligibility.
- Others must have at least ten years of service to Central.
- Desirable qualifications include exceptional contributions to Eagle Athletics and achievement in public life.
- The achievement was so outstanding as to eliminate any questions as to selection.
TEAMS
- Sports teams that brought recognition to Central Methodist University through their outstanding performance.
