Coach Houchin enters his first year as a graduate assistant with the baseball program in 2023-24.
As a player, he has had stops at Belhaven University, Parkland College, Johnwood Community College, and his final three years at Olivet Nazarene University in Illinois. While playing for the Tigers, Houchin served as a relief pitcher and first baseman. He spent his final year as a student-assistant coach.
Houchin graduated from Hancock High School in Kiln, Mississippi where he was a two-year varsity starter.
