Kansas City, Mo. - For the first time in program history, the Central Methodist Bowling program earned a Heart of America Athletic Conference Bowler of the Week honor Tuesday. 

Eric Moore, a senior from Macon, Missouri, won the award after taking home first place at the NAIA Midwest Tournament Sunday with 1,422 pins through seven games. He averaged 203.1 pins/game, placing him ahead of 69 other bowlers. 

It also marked the first individual championship for CMU in program history. 

Moore and the Eagles will be back in action in two weeks at the Cedar Valley Invite in Waterloo, Iowa.
