Wichita, Kan. - The Central Methodist Men's Bowling team competed in the Mid-State Championship at Northrock and West Acres Bowling Lanes in Wichita, Kansas this past weekend.

The two-day event featured 32 different programs from the NCAA and NAIA levels. CMU finished the two-day tournament with a 29th place finish and a score of 8314.

"It was a great learning experience with many teaching moments cued up for the team and coaching staff," said Head Coach Kevin Duncan. "The team battled through rough starts to finish strong both days. We have some things to clean up in practice this week before we head into our next tournament."

Central will next compete in the Lindenwood Lion's Classic beginning Saturday, Oct. 28 at St. Charles Lanes in St. Charles, Mo.
