Kansas City, Mo. - Central Methodist freshman Eli Korhammer was named the Heart Esports Rocket League Player of the Week by the conference office Tuesday.
It marks the first conference honor for the program in school history.
Korhammer earned the award after the Eagles swept Missouri Valley last Thursday by scores of 1-0, 4-3, and 4-1.
The native of Imperial, Missouri scored the lone goal in the first matchup for Central. He followed that up with goals to secure a comeback win in game two. Altogether he scored four total goals and had three total assists.
