Springfield, Mo. - The (RV) Central Methodist Men's Wrestling Team continued tournament action at the Drury University Open Saturday morning in Springfield, Mo.
The Open featured 25 different schools from around the midwest. Central was represented in every weight class, with seven Eagles placing. Senior Brenden Shelton led the way with a second-place standing in the 285-pound bracket, tallying a final record of 4-1
Freshman Elijah Hynes placed third at 197 with a 5-1 record, while Treyvon Ward (197), Justin McEnaney (165), Lukas Eagle (157), Xavien Jackson (149), and Zachary Godar (141) all finished sixth in their respective weight classes.
Central will next compete in the Bulldog Duals Saturday, Dec. 17 at beginning at 9:00 a.m. in Seward, Neb.
