Athletic Communications is responsible for writing press releases, coordinating media relations, and gameday staffing for home events, oversight of CMUEagles.com, creating special publications, providing statistical and historical information, and coordinating video and photography efforts. The Athletic Communications staff is ready to assist members of the news media in their coverage of the Eagles. Please feel free to contact us.

Copies of game box scores will be available at halftime/between sets and shortly following the completion of the contest in men's and women's soccer, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball. In all other sports, statistics and results will be published on CMUEagles.com as soon as they are provided.

Cumulative season statistics will be made available upon request or accessed through the stats link on each team's homepage. Live stats are also available for men's and women's soccer, volleyball, and men's and women's basketball contests.

 

 


POLICIES

LOGOS & BRANDING

All official logo usage and branding requests must be made in writing. Any unauthorized use of trademarked athletics elements will be met with a cease and desist notification from in-house counsel. All logo requests should go through the Athletic Communications department.

 

INTERVIEWS

All coach and student-athlete interviews should be directed through the Director of Athletic Communications. Coaches and players are normally available for post-game interviews approximately 10 minutes after each contest. Media members should inform the Athletic Communications staff which player(s) are requested for interviews. For post-game interviews with opponents, please contact the media relations contact representing the visiting team, if available. For all non-gameday interviews, please contact the Athletic Communications department to arrange a mutually convenient time for all parties. Additionally, all interviews for administrative staff of the Department of Athletics should go directly through the Athletic Communications department.

 

MEDIA CREDENTIALS

Requests for all media credentials should be addressed to the Athletic Communications department via email no later than 48 hours before an event. Credentials are normally picked up at the ticketing area of each facility.
